About the role...

There is no such thing as a daily routine. Your day will be as varied as the needs of people you are looking after. You will often be helping people to wash and dress, eat and drink, and go about their daily activities. After a while you will know what makes a difference to them and what helps to put a smile on their face. Other responsibilities include making sure emergency aid and other trust policies are followed as well as alerting your line manager of any health and safety risks or potential improvements to the care of your residents.


A bit about you...

You are an empathetic individual who considers themselves a team player. A patient individual who prides themselves on their communication skills both verbal and written. You enjoy talking and learning from others experiences, values and beliefs and consider yourself to be a well organised individual. In situations of potential conflict you are calm and quick on your feet.

Requirements

Key Skills and Experience needed

  • Educated to GSCE level or equivalent
  • Demonstrate a desire to help others
  • Willing to learn about the care system and best practices within the environment


Extra Awesome:

  • Knowledge of Care Standards
  • Experience of working with and completing Care Plans
  • Awareness of CQC Competent using Microsoft Outlook including Word and Excel
