About the role...

As a Team Leader you will be a key member of our care team. You will provide guidance, instruction and practice for the team, ensuring the team is providing the best physical, social and emotional care to our residents. This include holding regular team meetings, promotion of an effective keycarer system and supervision of staff members. You’ll play a key part with care delivery in the home, ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents care. Working within the Care team you will show warmth, compassion and support to our residents and their families; helping to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.

You are an empathetic individual who considers themselves a team player. A patient individual who prides themselves on their communication skills both verbal and written. You enjoy talking and learning from others experiences, values and beliefs and consider yourself to be a well organised individual. In situations of potential conflict you are calm and quick on your feet.

Requirements

Key skills and experience:

  • NVW L3 in Health and Social Care
  • At least 6 months experience in the care industry
  • Educated to GSCE level or equivalent
  • Demonstrate a desire to help others
  • Willingness to learn about the care system and best practices within the environment

Extra Awesome:

  • Knowledge of Care Standards
  • Experience of working with and completing Care Plans
  • Awareness of CQC Competent using Microsoft Outlook including Word and Excel
