Over the next 2-3 years the Colart group is going through a revolutionary transformation with a focus on becoming a lifestyle business. We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to embrace the world of e-commerce and spread the message about our amazing brands. 


About the role...

We know that in today's world offline marketing is just not enough. So in this role we'll like you to champion all our online marketing initiatives. Using multiple platforms and multi-dimensional initiatives you'll be in charge of making sure our brands are punching 'above their weight' to share their company messages. You'll be our 'local digital marketing expert' who'll plan and execute all local online activities. You'll do this by supporting all local market/channel needs which are both owned E-commerce & E-tail channels. Using a range of techniques such as paid search, SEO, PPC, retail partner marketing and local email campaigns, it will be your sole aim to promote our brands.

Requirements

  • Build and execute the annual Amazon UK activation plan collaborating with the Ecommerce Channel Sales Manager. This will include - introduction of NPD, brand and A + pages, promotions. Where appropriate working with AMG to develop the media strategy to drive sales and awareness.
  • Develop and execute joint digital marketing plans for our key UK Online customers Jacksons, Bromley’s to ensure best in class brand activation via the customer owned digital platforms to drive sustainable growth in this key channel.
  • Be the ‘local digital marketing expert’ - plan and execute all local online activities to support local market/channel needs which will be a combination of owned Ecommerce and Etail channels. Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO, PPC, retail partner marketing, social media and local email campaigns either via our brand owned channels or retailer channels.

  • Responsible for planning and budgetary control of UK Digital/Account specific marketing budgets.

  • Setting of clear goals and measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

  • Collaborating cross functionally to deliver results in line with brand strategy. 

In addition, it would be highly advantageous if you have the following..


  • Someone with solid digital marketing experience in particular with Amazon.
  • Results oriented – focussed on achieving results on time in full and sharing learning’s and best practise with marketing colleagues.
  • Highly creative with experience in devising digital campaigns across many platforms, with an excellent attention to detail to ensure highest performance standards are met.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to analyse data to help inform and provide guidance on campaign activity.
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools (such Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Email Marketing Software (such as Pure 360, Dotmailer ) 
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
